Congratulations to the Gunadarma University Faculty of Psychology Student Team who passed the 37th PIMNAS in 2024

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is one of the activities promoted by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology under the management of the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs. The purpose of organizing this activity is as an effort to initiate the improvement of the quality of students as learners, as well as to provide opportunities in the development of creativity and innovative mindset rather than science and technology (IPTEK).

PKM 2024 begins with socialization activities that have taken place on February 6-7, 2024. After that, each team of students from PKM with funding schemes will begin to submit research proposals after a discussion process with the mentoring lecturers.
If the proposal is approved, the student team can then begin research until finally passing the PKM Implementation Progress Assessment (PKP2) stage which has been held from July 22nd to August 3rd, 2024.

Out of the 9 teams of students from the Faculty of Psychology funded under the Social Research and Humanities (RSH) scheme, the team of students assisted by Dr. Quroyzhin Kartika Rini with their team leader Nuury Rahmadini Sawitry and members Afifah Salsabila, Agnes Maya Angela Liem and Auliyaa Rayya Nesta Yasin successfully qualified as representatives of Gunadarma University to take part in the 37th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) at Airlangga University, Surabaya. Let’s give them a huge support for a well presentation!

A Joint Meeting with LLDikti Region III on Cooperation Partners in the Field of Assistance and Recovery for Victims of Violence

On Friday, October 11th, 2024, the Head of the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS Task Force) of Universitas Gunadarma, Dr. Inge Andriani, accompanied by the Head of the Psychology Consultation and Service Center (PLP) of Gunadarma University, Dr. Dona Eka Putri, Psikolog, fulfilled a meeting invitation with LLDikti Region III at the LLDikti Region III Office, Cawang, East Jakarta.

The meeting was scheduled to discuss cooperation partners between Gunadarma University and LLDikti Region III related to the assistance and recovery of victims of sexual violence, both in the fields of health, legal aid and psychology. This meeting was intended as a forum for providing input and suggestions from Gunadarma University as a continuation of the availability of representative facilities and infrastructure for the follow-up of sexual violence cases in the university environment.

Asosiasi Penyelenggara Pendidikan Tinggi Psikologi Indonesia (AP2TPI; an Indonesian Association of Higher Education in Psychology) and Center For Public Mental Health of Universitas Gadjah Mada organize Workshop on Public Policy Advocacy for Implementation of Evidence-Based Psychological Service in Yogyakarta from 14th – 16th of August 2024. This event discussed the advocacy program for the formation of psychology personnel in health services as well as arranging and plotting advocacy for public policy between universities and other institutions that have a role and contribution

The representatives sent by Universitas Gunadarma is Dr. Dona Eka Putri, MPsi, Psikolog as the Chairperson of the Adhoc Team for the Establishment of Universitas Gunadarma’s Professional Psychology Study Program. This activity also included a visit to better understand the practice of Puskesmas Psychologists in Yogyakarta. This is a much beneficial event for Universitas Gunadarma’s Professional Psychology Study Program to support field practice work and cooperation between universities and related institutions.

Universitas Gunadarma signed a collaborative MoU with Universitas Budi Luhur, Faculty of Psychology of Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang, and Universitas Lancang Kuning Riau on Monday, 12th of August, 2024.

This event was attended by the Head of LLDIKTI III Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., Rector of Universitas Gunadarma Prof. Dr. E. S. Margianti, S.E., M.M., accompanied with Prof. Dr. Noor Rocham Hadjam, as well as Dr. Herio Rizki Dewindra, M.Psi, Psikolog as the Dean of Faculty of Psychology Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang.

The scope of the proposed collaboration consists of:
(1) Both Parties within the limits of authority, will make use of the available resource on the work unit of both parties in order to support the implementation of education, research, and community service in accordance to Tri Dharma of Higher Education;
(2) The development of science and applied psychology;
(3) The advancement of knowledge and skills of psychology researchers as well as psychologist;
(4) Psychological service for people (social responsibility);
(5) Public lecture (Stadium General);
(6) The writings of Books/Scientific writings;
(7) Development of Scientific Journal;
(8) Research and Community service;
(9) Practical and Lecturing of Community Service

Through discussion with the Department of Collaboration of Universitas Gunadarma, the agreed collaboration is on number 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, dan 8. Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang was interested to do student exchange program by sending their students to the Education of Psychology Professional of Universitas Gunadarma. However this cannot be implemented yet, as currently, Universitas Gunadarma is still focusing on the alumni of Universitas Gunadarma for the Education of Psychology Professional

In April 2024, Gunadarma University had the opportunity to receive a visit from Professor Annie Vinter from Universite de Bourgogne, France. She was in attendance for research mentoring activities aimed at doctoral students at the Depok Campus as well as providing motivational support to “study abroad” for PSDKU Psychology Study Program students at Campus N, Paser, North Penajam, East Kalimantan.

WELCOME NEW STUDENTS OF 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

Universitas Gunadarma held the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activity of 2023 for the Faculty Level on Monday-Thursday, September 18th to 21st, 2023 for all faculties. The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the Undergraduate Program of Psychology, Literature and Diploma in Business & Entrepreneurship was held on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at H Campus.

The event was attended by the entire Universitas Gunadarma community including the Rector, Vice Rector, Deans, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Lecturers and students. The new students of Universitas Gunadarma Undergraduate Program of Psychology which totaled of 1213 students in all regions of Depok, Kalimalang, Karawaci and Cengkareng campuses. Welcome speeches and motivation for new students were given by the Rector of Gunadarma University, Professor Dr. E.S Margianti, S.E., M.M and Head of LLDIKTI Region III, Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc.
